Every once in a while someone appears who is mature, wise and caring beyond their years. This describes James Davis precisely and we are lucky to have James as one of our volunteers. He started helping with Opening Hearts when he was just 15 years old.
James has helped with the youth volunteer team at each of Evening With The Stars events. He has also helped with various display booths, such as the Locke Street Festival. Not only does he come early to help set up, he also works the booths by answering questions and promoting Opening Hearts.
James goes to Westmount Secondary School. He enjoys studying science, especially chemistry and biology, and he hopes to enter the medical field one day. He likes to keep active by running, working out at the gym and squeeze in some golf. He likes hockey and he quite happy that his Montreal Canadians are doing so well this year. In his pastime, James likes to read, play card games and have fun with video games.
With young people like James in our midst, we can be comfortable knowing that our world will have excellent leaders in the future – leaders that are skilled and capable, yet compassionate and caring.
Join us in thanking and congratulating James – our Feature Volunteer!
